Improvisation performance

I improvise with juggling, moving, and dancing. Masterly juggling is hereby complemented with experimental juggling. The movement language, weightless and effortless, varies from humorous and lively to precise, rhythmic, abstract. Sometimes I improvise alone, at other times in intense dialogue with musicians and other artists. In the space between banality and profundity, or between triviality and excellence, there emerges an exciting homage to the here and now.

 Improvisation method and classes

Improvisation is an important art form in its own right. While it is a tool for research, it also raises awareness and refines the artistic expression. Ultimately, improvisation is a deep contemplation of one’s self. This enhances the artistic and personal development process.

My method focuses on immersing oneself completely in the present, letting go and accepting all. We improvise using the body, acting and circus art skills; space, time, movement, objects and energies are consciously experienced and applied. In this way, "nothing much" can go a long way to build a lot of suspense.

CV

Through my intensive involvement with Taichi I have become more and more aware of how directly body and mind (spirit) are connected. Every work with the body is also mental work and vice versa. This comprehensive examination means a confrontation with deep-seated issues and leads to the ability to consciously direct oneself. This is the key to all my work, which can be applied in different areas.
